Apple: Write apps for us, not for them! - Apple 2.0 - Fortune Tech

As I alluded to earlier, what Stocks, Weather, Voice Memo, Clock, and Calculator have in common is that they’re all simple ‘minor’ apps that wouldn’t know what to do with 1024×768 if you gave it to them. They’re intended for quick reference, for quick ‘in and out’ tasks. In short, they’re multitasking apps. It’s clear that Apple believes this because with the exception of Voice Memo all these apps were OS X dashboard widgets before the iPhone ever existed. I would put forward that they’re going back to their rightful place.
Widgets for the iPad/iPhone would be nice.
Now this is cool. Sadly I can probably throw off some other apps now.
Given the rumors culminating today in the Tuesday, January 26th Special Media Event mother of all rumors, the speculation about the when is only compounded by the what, and on that raging inferno of fantasy, TiPb is once again wondering if maybe not only (or not even) an iTablet fits the bill — but an iPhone 4.0 unveiled early in advance of an iPhone HD.
Now that I bought a HD Video Camera it will surely come ;)
Android is getting better and better. But it will never ben an iPhone.
